The latest extended gameplay presentation for the highly anticipated RPG, Lords of the Fallen, has recently been unveiled by HEXWORKS and CI Games. This 18-minute showcase has provided us with an in-depth look into various game mechanics, boss fights, two unique realms, and a diverse range of enemy types. This sneak peek into the upcoming adventure has stirred excitement among the gaming community as players anticipate what they can expect from this RPG.

Beginning with a thrilling boss fights against Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal, the game introduces players to its versatile combat system that combines melee, magic, and ranged abilities along with four extra skills. Lords of the Fallen adds a unique twist to the conventional RPG setup with a concept of two distinct realms, Axiom and Umbral. When players succumb in the land of the living, Axiom, they get a final chance to fight in the realm of the dead, Umbral. Players can traverse between these realms at any time but at the cost of a life. Each realm is unique in design, enemy variety, treasures, and secrets, promising a different experience each time the player ventures into it.

Another interesting feature highlighted in the gameplay is the Vestiges, which function similarly to the bonfires in Dark Souls and Sites of Grace in Elden Ring. These allow players to level up and travel between Axiom and Umbral, as well as create unique character builds. The gameplay also provides a glimpse into the co-op feature, which can be accessed through a Vestige, allowing players to invite friends or random players to join their journey.

The game's graphics are visually impressive, with an amazing level of detail, and the gameplay appears to be promising. With its release just a few months away, this extended gameplay demo is a great preview of what is in store for players. Lords of the Fallen is set to launch on October 31st on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
