For PC gamers, the mere mention of Denuvo is enough to send shivers down their spines. While the anti-piracy software is known for its effectiveness, it often comes at the expense of honest players. So it's no surprise that there won't be many sad faces when they learn that Starbreeze has decided to remove Denuvo from their upcoming game, Payday 3, set to launch on September 21.
Although no official explanation was provided, it's reasonable to assume that they noticed the negative impact it had on the game. And we couldn't be happier about it. Additionally, Starbreeze has also shared the exact times when players in different regions can start playing the game on September 21, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X (included with Game Pass from day one).
